Chelsea should go all out to sign Tottenham star Harry Kane, a former Blues player has said. Florent Malouda, who won both the Premier League and Champions League at Stamford Bridge, has urged his former side to join the race for the English striker.
Kane, who has now scored 201 Premier League goals throughout his time in north London, is said to be the subject of transfer interest from Manchester United, with the Sun reporting that Erik ten Hag’s side are ‘confident’ of signing the Spurs ace this summer. However, Malouda believes Todd Boehly and co. should challenge United for his signature.
“Chelsea should definitely join the race for Harry Kane,” Malouda said to DAZN Bet. “Kane is a world-class player who knows the Premier League, and it is an era where Chelsea need a striker with his goalscoring record and the ambition to win trophies.
