Thomas Tuchel return ultimatum

Thomas Tuchel is one of a host of managers linked with taking over from Graham Potter should he be sacked at Chelsea in the coming weeks. The German was only dismissed himself in September.

Having won the Champions League in 2021 he is truly a fan favourite but it wasn't a completely smooth 18 months in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Tuchel pushed for the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan in the summer of 2022 but is understood to have fallen out with him months later, resulting in his eventual loan to Inter Milan for this season. Lukaku is due to back at Chelsea next season unless a new deal can be negotiated and he could, in theory, be reunited with Tuchel.
