AC Milan have zeroed in on Hakim Ziyech as a top target for the January window with the Chelsea winger widely tipped to leave Stamford Bridge.

Hakim Ziyech, a Chelsea winger who is generally expected to depart Stamford Bridge, has been identified by AC Milan as their top target for the January transfer season. Despite the change in management at Chelsea, Ziyech has struggled to maintain his spot on the team sheet, and there are numerous rumors that the former Ajax star is looking to transfer abroad in order to secure regular playing time.

The defending Serie A winners AC Milan are reportedly eager to present a bid for Ziyech when the transfer window reopens in the coming days, according to a report from the Spanish news outlet Fichajes.

The 29-year-old was essential to Morocco’s journey to the round of 16 at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Ziyech’s outstanding performances have drawn interest from various clubs in Europe.

Milan are thought to have been Ziyech’s primary pursuers for a long time, with the San Siro side being strongly interested in signing the Chelsea player last summer in a loan deal with an option to buy.

Chelsea set to break bank for €75m-rated Croatia international

In order to beαt the line that is forming for the defender, Chelsea may try to sign Josko Gvardiol as early as January. A huge amount of interest is being shown in the Real Madrid target, who is valued at £45 million. Following outstanding performances for Croatia at the World Cup, Gvardiol is in high demand.

The fαct that Josko was among the best football players in the competition has only boosted interest in the defender. Although they might not want to sell the Croatian international in the winter, RB Leipzig is preparing for significant bids. Real Madrid is one of the top candidates for the £45 million objective, drawing intense interest from Premier League teams.

The 20-year-old center-back has a number of major suitors, including the London giants, who are still eager to sign the defender. The Blues have changed their tactics to entice players and their teams by making early bids and paying top dollar.

They pursued Nkunku, the Croatian defender’s colleague at Leipzig, in a similar manner and apparently reached an agreement by forking over more money than his release clause. They apparently prefer the Croatian in the winter over the summer and may attempt to close a similar deal for him.

Josko joined RB Leipzig in a £15m deal in 2021 and has since seen his value triple to nearly £45m. As things stand, no clubs have an agreement with RB Leipzig, although the Bundesliga side will be bracing for huge offers to arrive.

Newcastle have no interest in Chelsea’s Jorginho

Jorginho of Chelsea is not of interest to Newcastle, according to Daniel Ochei, as of December 28, 2022

According to The Telegraph, Newcastle United has no interest in signing Chelsea midfielder Jorginho this January or next summer.

According to reports, the club is concerned about Jorginho’s mobility and capacity to perform in their midfield system. His huge salaries will also be too much for a club that is already having trouble adhering to its financial fair play restrictions.

Jorginho’s contract with Chelsea expires in six months. There are no indications that the Blues intend to retain the former Napoli player after this campaign.

In the January winter transfer window, Newcastle is seeking for midfielders, and the name of the Italian international circulated. He was touted as one of the Magpies’ primary targets.

Eddie Howe, the head coach, requested reinforcement to help his team’s start to the season, but it appears the club has no interest in Jorginho.

Newcastle is interested in Moises Caicedo of Brighton & Hove Albion and Youri Tielemans of Leicester City.

Given that Caicedo is expected to cost above £60 million, a move for him during the winter transfer window may be difficult to complete. When he joined the team in 2021, the Ecuadorian international agreed to a four-and-a-half-year contract.

While playing for the Seagulls, Newcastle sporting director Dan Ashworth arranged for Caicedo to be signed. He is well familiar with the player.

Youri Tielemans, whose contract expires in June 2023, is an additional choice. Last summer, Leicester City established a £35 million asking price for the Belgian international, but no one responded.

With only six months left on his contract with the Foxes, Newcastle might be able to get him for less money.

James Maddison is still a goal, too, although any transfer decisions won’t be made until next summer.

The club’s soaring pay bill is the most important issue to resolve. To free up salaries in the team, they were unable to transfer any players from the club.
