Chelsea have reportedly told their opponents that signing USA international Christian Pulisic in January will cost them £35 million.
The midfielder thought that a fresh start under Graham Potter would be beneficial because he did not agree with the club’s prior manager, Thomas Tuchel.
Following his departure from Chelsea earlier this season, Pulisic lashed out against the German.
The American was particularly irritated when he was left out of Chelsea’s starting eleven for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid in 2021.

“Tuchel told me that he was resting me for the second leg and as a result, I didn’t play a single minute in the Fulham game,” Pulisic said.
“Then on match day of the second semi, Tuchel tells me he’s changed his mind and he’s going with Kai [Havertz]. I honestly was dumbfоunded and very disappointed.
“I thought that I’d earned a start and, most importantly, he had assured me previously I was going to start.

“So by the time he brought me on with about 25 minutes left, I was just so wоund up.”
To his chagrin, Pulisic’s fortunes haven’t improved much since Potter took control. He’s been in and out of the team, and he’s strυggled to make an impression.
The Blues paid roughly £58 million to get Pulisic, who has since flopped at Stamford Bridge. In 18 games this season, he has only one goal and two assists.
Pulisic, on the other hand, performs considerably better in a US jersey, and he played well against England earlier this week in the World Cup group stages.
This has fueled speculation of a transfer, with Manchester United among the clubs interested in him.
The Red Devils were connected with him shortly before the summer transfer market closed, but the move could be revived ahead of the January transfer season.
It has been reported that Manchester United are once again’showing interest’ in adding Pulisic to their roster.
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea is “weighing whether to cash in on the 24-year-old during the January window rather than allowing his contract to run down to the last 12 months.”
Chelsea is reportedly expected to want for approximately £35 million for Pulisic in January. The report adds that the player and club ‘do not want a loan deal’.
However, there is reported to be a “three-way strυggle” for Pulisic, with Arsenal and Newcastle United both “watching his developments.”
However, Pulisic is not the only midfielder on Man United’s radar. They are also enamored with Argentina and Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez.
The 21-year-old has made an impression at the World Cup, scoring in Argentina’s 2-0 win over Mexico earlier this week.
Any deal for Fernandez, though, will be costly because his current contract includes a £100 million release clause.
Chelsea now linked with new World Cup winger
As was something that was always going to be expected to happen during this World Cup, rumоrs have been circulating that Chelsea are interested in another new player.
Naturally, the Blues have a vast pool of players on the shortlist that they are looking at as prospective targets, and they are considering all of these players. The new owners have expressed an interest in bolstering
