Declan Rice, a midfielder for West Ham who is currently seeking a transfer away from his alma mater, is in the lead for a move to Chelsea.
Rice took over as West Ham’s captain after Mark Noble gave the reins to him. While Rice’s ability to represent the team he grew up supporting is surely a dream come true, there will probably come a time when he looks to join a Champions League team that is actively vying for championships.
