In order to replace Edouard Mendy, who is out of favor, Chelsea is reportedly prioritizing signing Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
The goalkeeper Robert Sanchez of Brighton has reportedly emerged as Chelsea’s top target to take Edouard Mendy’s spot as a replacement during the summer transfer window, according to writer Simon Phillips (via GIVE ME SPORT). Premier League powerhouses Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have recently expressed interest in the Spanish international.
Edouard Mendy, the goalie for Chelsea, is having a difficult 2022–23 season for his club and his country after making a recent, well-publicized error that led to Senegal’s defeat by the Netherlands. The Spanish shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has been outstanding in goal and has appeared reborn, has taken over the top slot since he struggled with fitness and form at the beginning of the season.
