Ian McGarry from the Transfer Podcast reported that Chelsea are preparing to reward Mason Mount with a mighty rise on his contract.

Mount has certainly done enough in the past 12 months to earn an increase in his salary.

He was named Chelsea’s Player of the Year last season, making 54 appearances across all competitions and contributing 18 goals (scoring nine and assisting nine).

His role in the successful Champions League run cannot be overlooked either.The 22-year-old also helped England to the European Championship final, where they were eventually beaten by Italy.
